      Excellent question – I think probably the visual areas, as these help to show how complicated something like visual processing is. For example, there’s a part of the brain that specialises in processing faces (called the fusiform face area). If this bit gets damaged then people, who can see perfectly normally otherwise, stop being able to recognise faces. I think it’s amazing.
