I don’t really have a normal day – all of them are quite different depending on what is going on at the moment. Right now my typical day would include testing participants with an eye-tracker (you can see one on my profile picture), teaching first year university students, doing my own teacher training, writing a little bit and of course having tea and chatting with my office mate 🙂

Like Wil, my days are always different. I spend a lot of time writing emails, and dealing with student queries. I maybe do a lecture, or have a tutorial, or go to a meeting with other lecturers to plan things. Yesterday I did a presentation about my latest research project to other researchers. And later today I’m going to start preparing my next lecture – which is on synaesthesia, which is when people’s senses get mixed together.
