      Alcohol (in excess) can cause damage to the brain and body. The damage to the brain can lead to cognitive impairments (poor decision making). The damage to the body can lead to organ failure (livers and kidneys), things like throat cancer and many other diseases you wouldn’t want!

      Small amounts of alcohol are likely to be much less harmful, but it is difficult to measure the effects in people.
