I really enjoy studying emotions – why do we feel the way we do, where does it come from and how do we express and react to emotions. I also like social psychology: how do groups interact, where do attitudes come from and how do we interact with each other.

My favourite type of psychology is heath psychology – how many different factors (behavioural, genetic etc) can influence our health. Particularly, why are we so happy with conducting behaviours that we know might harm us in the long run.

There are so many good ones to choose from! But as a student I loved learning about neuropsychology – so how we learn about the brain, and how it works, when things go wrong…. so the way we learn about how our memories work by studying people with dementia.
