• Question: Do you think that robots could ever be smart enough to turn against us humans?

      Probably one day. Technology is advancing so quickly, and robots will become more and more realistic and ‘intelligent’

      I don’t hope to be around when it happens.

      Absolutely! A group of scientists recently programmed a ‘bot’ that used artificial intelligence to learn how to talk and hold conversations from millions of websites.
      Within about half a day it had learned to swear and turned out to be pretty crazy – so they had to shut it down…
      A lot of effort goes into trying to make robots as human-like as possible. But if we don’t want them to turn on us, then perhaps we should consider NOT making them as human-like as possible!!!
