• Question: Do you enjoy talking in front of large crowds?

      I never used to. At first it is terrifying, but the more you do it the easier it gets (as with most things).

      I still get nervous, but the nerves help you to give a good presentation sometimes.

      It’s really scary but I usually quite like it in the end. I’ve got much better at controlling my nerves 🙂

      I like the advice I got when I was younger: Just imagine that everyone in the crowd is your friend – you’ve known them for years. Imagine you’ve already spoken and that it went really well and they already like you — now all you have to do is go and just clarify a few things.
      It makes you feel really comfortable and then you can speak slowly and more relaxed.
      I use this for job interview too – just imagine you already have the job!
